•A farm and food processing company with organic, high-end canned produce.
•Brand Focus Digital has been successfully managing their shelf stable brands on Amazon for nearly five years.
Challenge:
•Amazon procured tens of thousands of dollars in deductions from client claiming that some specific agreements were not in place during a particular time-period and were mislabeled; when in fact that was not the case.
Solutions:
•This particular case study centers around Brand Focus Digital’s meticulous attention to detail and tenacity.
•The work included the retrieval and review of post-audit claims.
•Researching agreements and uncovering errors in Amazon’s administration of the claims.
Compiled backup documentation and information and provided written explanation of the issue along with a description of why the vendor should not be subjected to the deductions Amazon had taken.
•Sent backup documents in an escalation email to the andyj@amazon.com email address, then worked directly with the vendor manager who followed up to ultimately get the money paid back.
