The Challenge:  Building a brand that is very successful in Germany but had no market in the U.S.


Client Goal:  Building the brand and reputation on Amazon.  Scale advertising while staying under 20% ACOS.


Solutions:  Utilize cutting edge tools for backend search terms to optimize terms and to automate reviewer requests.  Launched advertising, created auto, manual, and targeted campaigns (sponsored brand, display, and products advertising campaigns) as well as video advertising.  Advised on external SM influencer efforts.  Developed pricing strategy to maintain the buy box from 3PL sellers.  Initiated Subscribe and Save to generate recurring sales.  Built and enhanced the brand store with effective content and comparison chart which helped overall conversion. Utilized Amazon tools to track the effectiveness of campaigns driven to Amazon via social media advertising. Additionally, utilized tools to optimize detail pages and improve conversion.  Assured customer satisfaction by contacting customers who left negative reviews. Throughout the year, we successfully scaled product offerings by launching several new coffee blends and sizes.    Consistently shipped optimal amounts of inventory, limiting FBA storage fees. Successfully appealed wrongfully removed product listings, minimizing downtime and still achieving record monthly sales.  Developed an in-depth promotional strategy that included but was not limited to lightning deals and coupons.  Provided proactive client communication with an average response time of under one hour.


Results:  In one year's time Tchibo went from zero sales, zero brand recognition to over $2 million in total sales and over 1200 units (combined) sold!  Fifty percent of sales were generated from advertising.  Exceeded ACOS goal of under 20% and maintained it.  Awarded 100% of disputed chargebacks saving the company money.
